Materials

The existing facing brick is painted chalky black using Keim Roylan mineral paint. This product reacts chemically with the substrate creating a permanent bond which maintains vapour permeability whilst also providing an effective barrier to moisture ingress. As a UV stable product the colour remains strong for decades, combined with the fact that the paint will not crack or flake, Kiem Roylan is a sustainable choice, with minimal long term maintenance requirements.
